How does the V line thread facelift works?

Special threads are used during the procedure to discreetly hold repositioned skin and facial tissue in place after surgery. It is a bi-directional absorbable thread cone that works in a dual capacity of lifting and regenerating. The effect of lifting happens immediately at the time of the procedure due to the elevation of the tissues at the time of adjusting the suture.

The regenerative effect is due to the polylactic acid material that the thread is made off. This material is completely biodegradable and as it gets absorbed it stimulates the skin to produce collagen. Silhouette® threads used in the clinic are completely biodegradable and acts on the deeper layers of the skin and naturally stimulates the body so that it produces its own collagen. For nose threadlift, Polydioxanone (PDO) is used to lift the nose up, for a straighter and higher nose bridge and tip. This action, which continues over time, *helps increase the volume of saggy areas and restore shapeliness to the face gradually and naturally.

Does it involve pain?

Since it does not require any surgical incision, the V thread facelift are performed with local anesthesia.

Who is suitable for V thread facelift?

The best candidates for a thread facelift are those who have relatively good skin tone. Most are beginning to experience sagging in their face or neck but do not have excessively loose skin or drooping facial areas that might require more rigorous facelift surgery. If signs of aging are relatively minimal, a thread lift may be a good way to make cosmetic enhancements.

What to expect from the procedure?

The procedure takes about less than an hour to be done. After which, patient will be able to leave the clinic immediately. There might be some swelling, discomfort and pain present for a few days but no other major side effects.

*Thread facelift lasts about a year or two, depending on the condition of the patient. After which, the same procedure can be done again.
