The procedure is done under general anesthesia and sedation. Hence, *no pain will be felt during the procedure. After the procedure, there will be a certain amount of swelling and bruising, although no major side effects expected.
What to expect for the procedure?
Recovery time will vary, depending on the complexity of the procedure done. The swelling should be gone in a week and the head should be kept elevated for at least two days following the surgery to help alleviate the swelling. Gently applying ice packs to the affected region would help to.
Proper suitable medications will be given for recovery and it is important to consume the medications as prescribed.
